KEEP YOUR FOCUS When you do not know where you are going, your destination or what the future holds for you, you are bound to panic when crisis comes. Crisis will come as a child of God but Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)”. When you know where you are going, whatever happens to you midway (before you get to your promised land, the destination, the throne), whether cancer, attack or tribulation, it cannot change your focus. No matter what was going on in Jesus’ life, He kept His focus. Whether people were praising Him with palm fronds or whipping Him with cords, His focus remained the same. That you are a Christian does not mean that you will not encounter challenges. Anything close to Jesus receives attack from satan. When attack comes, run to God; don’t run from Him. If you are a Christian, remember God is faithful. If you are with Him and for Him in truth and in faith, He will never allow your challenges, situations or temptations to go beyond what you are able (1 Corinthians 10:13). Prayer: Give us the grace Lord to remain focused on our divine cause, no matter the situation we are in, in Jesus name.
