KEITH THURMAN WANTS TO FIGHT TIM BRADLEY AND MAKE A BIG STATEMENT WITH A KNOCKOUT VICTORY WBA interim world welterweight champion Keith One Time Thurman, 25, (23-0-0, 21 KOs), is very interested in landing a potential fight with former two-division wolrd champion Tim Desert Storm Bradley, 31, (31-1-0, 12 KOs). Now that Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank Inc. are on better working terms, Thurman could see himself facing a fighter promoted under the Top Rank banner in the near future. Definitely. Tim Bradley is a big name, he’s been around and I would be able to make a big statement with getting a victory, and especially a KO victory over Timothy Bradley, Thurman said. While Thurman could see himself landing a Bradley fight, he doesnt have the same confidence about getting a potential fight with Top Ranks star fighter, Manny Pacquiao. We’ll have to see. Pacquiao has yet to fight a Golden Boy fighter. I don’t know how many more fights Pacquiao really plans on having in his career. I haven’t really heard him talk about retirement or anything like that. I still don’t know what Pacquiao plans on doing with his future, Thurman said.
