KENNEDY COMMUNITY NEWS: Please join the Long Term Care Community Coalition for their sixth annual cocktail party celebrating our mission to improve care, quality of life and dignity for the elderly and disabled. This year we are pleased to be honoring Mary Jane Koren, MD, and commemorating her outstanding contributions to improving care in nursing homes and other settings at The Commonwealth Fund, The Fan Fox & Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, The NY State Department of Health and in her research and other work. The event will take place October 22, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Alzheimers Association, NYC. Tickets are $200 a person ($150 for consumer-based non-profit organizations). Due to space limitations, it is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.
