#KENYAARISE Our Anthem Our Prayer Every nation has its own anthem, a creed by which its people are unified. National anthems often speak of what the nation stands for, where its loyalties are and what the aspirations of its people are. National Anthems are very telling of what a nation is all about. If you listen to a national anthem then you soon begin to realize what that particular nation is founded on. Every time we sing or play our national anthem, we are reminded of our values and aspirations for our beloved country. If we choose to think over the words that are played or sung without going through the anthem as mere formality then we find ourselves proud to be part of what we proclaim in the song. There is a saying that “life is what you make it.” What are we making of Kenya?
