KEY MESSAGES It has become apparent that Combat Body Armour (CBA), Enhanced Body Armour (ECBA) MOLLE Body Armour and Osprey Body Armour is being worn by RMC staff and cadets, for field exercises and training. These items of equipment have been designed specifically for operational use by Regular UK Forces. They are not appropriate or suitable for use by cadets, or for CFAVs. They can create a risk of injury when incorrectly worn, and their use can create a security risk in terms of cadet recognition. RMC Cadets and Staff are only to wear authorised equipment which is as follows: ● Personal Load Carrying Equipment (PLCE) 90 Pattern Webbing ● Personal Load Carrying Equipment (CS95 Pattern Webbing) ● Cadet Tactical Assault Vest (which has been designed specifically for use by UK Cadet Forces Personnel) ● Other MoD Issued Personal Load Carrying Equipment (Webbing), with approval of Coy. Cdr. Other items of equipment are NOT to be used by RMC CFAVs and Cadets unless specifically authorised by HQ. Body armour is NOT to be worn. TO BE ACTIONED IMMEDIATELY
