KEYS TO A BETTER MARRIAGE: Your key today is words of life. I know it’s so easy in our relationships to get off on the woe is me statements. We can sometimes talk about stresses at work and things that make our communication seem more like a military casualty report then true communication. I am going to say something that will be hard for some of you but you have to learn to leave the job at the job and take up a new mantle when you come through the door at home. Seek to become your mate’s life giver and refresher. We all need to hear words that give us life and not death. Let try some words like it is so wonderful to see you; your smile lights up my world; I love you and cannot imagine life without you; it does my heart good to hold you in my arms; you look beautiful today. There are lots more that you can use, just be sure to look for encouraging statements. I am not saying you cannot talk about work when you get home just know that there needs to be more to your conversations at the end of the day then what a rough day it was.
