KIEVAN RUS Park is a unique amusement park in Ukraine! There will be recreated Detinets-Kremlin of Kiev in the true extent on 10 hectares of land, with all known nowadays architectural details of the capital in the Kievan Rus times. While fortifications of earth walls and moat, palisade, gates with 3-storeyed wooden towers, tournament field, grandstand, watchtowers and timbered manors of Kievans are already available for sightseeing, the park has something else special to offer. These are a theatre with professional actors, equestrian theatre and workshops of various traditional Slavic crafts, such as pottery, thread-doll making, pysanka painting, weaving, carving, blacksmithing, etc. Thus, the park is not just a monumental reconstruction of the core of the Kievan Rus capital but a living image with fairs and streets inhabited by colourfully dressed townsfolk, knights, riders and tradesmen.
