KING ABOVE ALL : O COME, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.... For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (Psalm 95, daily devotional) The problem with modern man in general is he does not see God as KING; does not recognize & fear Him as the Almighty Lord of Creation. He is regarded more as a force; some king of cosmic energy or power which can be tapped & harnessed for mans desires, rather than the great JEHOVAH God the Creator (I AM THAT I AM), to be worshipped & served in reverent , godly fear. Fear of God is not bad, as the lying modern psychologists would have us believe; its proper, sane appreciation of the Almighty Being Who holds every single atom in place moment by moment, and can dissolve it all in a micro second. Let us resist the spirit of degrading God into some servant force of man (Jedi); as a name it & claim it religion. He is King above all; above all gods. The gods of men are idols & lies. Let us keep Him exalted in our minds as rightly the King of creation ; the Lord Jesus Christ. Its not harmful psychology to fear Him, but the cause to make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation.
