KINGDOM BUSINESS Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. In the Kingdom, the primary purpose of business or ministry is to serve God by providing for the needs of saints and mankind Kingdom business begins with a successful personal Christian life with God. You cannot build a kingdom business if you are not modeling a personal kingdom lifestyle. A kingdom business is a profitable company operated by a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ that models His teachings with the goal of bringing transformation in the lives of individuals, communities and nations. It is a company that is not only committed to a double or triple bottom line but includes spiritual transformation as a part of how it measures success. Jesus tells us the price that must be paid to be a true follower. This is the same price that must be paid for followers who operate kingdom businesses. You must be willing to forsake your family You must be willing to forsake your own life You must be willing to bear your own cross The parable of the sheep and the goats, the only factor considered by God when dividing the sheep from the goats was whether and individual had provided for the needs of the brethren! Those, who had provided for the needs of the brethren, were told to “come inherit the kingdom” (Matthew 25:31-46) For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.
