KINGDOM MANNA! (WATCH WHAT YOU SAY!) A man went about the community telling malicious lies about the rabbi. Later, he realized the wrong he had done, and began to feel remorse. He went to the rabbi and begged his forgiveness, saying he would do anything he could to make amends. The rabbi told the man, Take a feather pillow, cut it open, and scatter the feathers to the wind. The man thought this was a strange request, but it was a simple enough task, and he did it gladly. When he returned to tell the rabbi that he had done what he requested, the rabbi said, now go and gather the feathers! Words when spoken are like feathers: they are easily scattered but not so easily gathered! Be careful what you say or how you slander people because what you are saying may be lie after all. The easiest way not to regret what you say later is to always weigh your words before you release them. When you are provoked, dont speak immediately. Allow the anger to die down before you speak otherwise you will regret some of the nasty things you will say in anger. The person may forgive you but the wound will hardly heal. Anytime the person sees you, he or she will remember the injury your unguarded tongue inflicted in their hearts!
