KISS ARMY WITH KEVSTER / MELSTER THIS DAY IN KISSTORY 3/31 1974 - KISS performs a day-time concert during the K-SHE Kite Flying Festival in St. Louis, Missouri on the debut album tour. 1978 - After having yesterday off KISS returns to Budokan Hall for another concert during the Alive II tour in Tokyo, Japan. It was during this five night stint that KISS broke the Budokans attendance records that was previously held by The Beatles. 1984 - Todays brand new issue of Circus magazine features a copy of the lyrics to the new KISS single called All Hells Breakin Loose. 1990 - Former KISS Spaceace Ace Frehley has Trouble Walkin in Odessa, Texas. 1995 - A very interesting article about KISS Co-founder Paul Stanleys recent run in with the law appears in the People section of a Reading, Pennsylvania, newspaper. The story reads as follows: A Close Encounter Of The Legal Kind - - KISS guitarist Paul Stanley had a very close brush with big-time law trouble this week, when he was pulled over in West Hollywood and handcuffed by the police. They told me there was a warrant out for my arrest and I was considered an armed and dangerous felon, Stanley reveals. It was surreal. I mean everyone tells you about the dark side of rock n roll, but that doesnt include being an armed felon! Stanley says he was asked whether he ever used aliases, and said Only when Im on tour, in hotels. Eventually, the cops re-ran his ID numbers trough their computer and discovered they had the wrong man. They told me sometimes its one digit off.... Then they gave me a card in case I wanted to complain, but I said Nah. The problem is people wont let you guys do your job these days. You were just doing your job. One of the officers ended the encounter by asking Stanley for his autograph. 1997 - A crowd of 10,435 KISS fans show up tonight as KISS plays a sold out concert in Charleston, West Virginia at the Civic Center during the Alive-Worldwide 96/97 tour. 2000 - KISS bids farewell to San Antonio, Texas. 2004 - KISS Co-founder Gene Simmons is at Cologne to promote his solo album A**HOLE on Sanctuary Records during his first day of a two day trip in Germany. 2006 - KISS agrees to conquer a smaller stage—the figure collectibles market. In a landmark licensing agreement with Signatures Network, KISS exclusive licensing agency, rocks grandest ghouls will be rendered as premium format sculptures by Sideshow Collectibles, of Thousand Oaks, CA.
