KISUMU /Manyataa- Houses razed down by fire As young man is lynched after MPASA robbery in Manyataa MANYATAA Several houses were razed down by fire in Manyattas estate near corner mbaya area on thusday in a 6.30pm fire incident . The fire ,some area resident claimed, might have been started by a jealous woman who decided to set alight a house she once lived in together with a man before the two parted ways upon learning that the man has been hosting other women in the same house since ... before fleeing - the fire was later put out by the kisumu county fire fighting department team after it had already spread to other houses. fortunately no death or injury occurred .Man was not at home. In another separate incident on the new road by pass Angry public lynched a young man they picked up near a spot on the road where a armed gang of robbers had parked get-away motorbike/s they later used to flee the scene after robbing an MPASA shop in manyataa ,along the new by pass (as you are coming in from Kondele about 400 m approx before reaching love bar ) Its not clear weather the young man was part of the gang or was just an innocent victim of mob justice who happened to be passing by near the spot where the gangs get-away motor bikes was parked at the time of the robbery incident ,before being cornered by the chasing mob who might have mistaken him for a robber. .The incident happened on thusday at around 8:30.pm
