KIWA will be holding a press conference announcing May Day march for year 2014. This year’s march, organized by broad coalition of organizations will focus on worker dignity, health, safety and keeping immigrant families together. The May Day march this year will begin at the gates of Chinatown on Broadway and end at the Detention Center on Alameda. As a symbol of immigrant workers of the past and present and their struggles. On May 1st thousands are expected to participate and march the streets.
