Founder and CEO, Ted Parker and Smith are club members, who recognize that Kiwi Tennis Club and the tournament are heralded nationally for its facilities and professionalism on the USTA Pro Circuit. The 10th Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic is a Har-Tru USTA Pro Circuit Wild Card Challenge, the last stop in a three-tournament women’s series wherein the American who wins the highest number of WTA points will earn a Main Draw Wild Card into the 2015 French Open. “Kiwi Tennis Club is a beautiful back-drop for the annual Pro Tournament, drawing thousands to the Space Coast annually. Benefiting from the event will be the Florida Institute of Technology Scott Center for Autism Treatment. Edward Scott, founder and owner of Kiwi Tennis Club, was the principle donor in the effort to create an Autism Treatment Center at FIT, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. The Scott Center is currently celebrating its fifth year anniversary. Since opening in 2009 the center has assisted hundreds of children and families, conducted research on best practices and trained members of the community ranging from pediatricians to teachers to law enforcement. “We work with local organizations to strengthen our neighborhoods and improve the lives of those in our community, with Autism being very near and dear to our hearts” said Parker of Revolution Technologies. The Scott Center provides early intensive behavior intervention (EIBI) for children ranging in age from 2 to 8 years. Services for children beyond this age range are provided on a case-by-case basis with special programs offered to children from 5-10.
