KKRSS Nargifarm felicitate elderly members SUKKAYPOKHARI, 23 Jun 2014: The Nargifarm unit of Kirati Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sanstha on Sunday felicitated 13 elderly members at a function held at the Nargifarm community hall. The elderly members are all above the age of 70 years. The function conducted by Sanstha members SB Rai and Milan Rai had the present of KKRSS central members CD Bantawa, Susheel Bantawa, KKRSS Pokraybung president Prakash Hangkhim, vice-president Pramod Rai, general secretary Bimal Rai and members Paras Rai and CB Bantawa along with other members of the organisation. The 13 elderly members included Sheela Maya Rai, Mahadev Das Rai, Suku Rai, Sanchi Rai, DB Rai, Jas Kumari Rai, Bhim Kumar Rai, Lal Maya Rai, B Maya Rai, Januka Rai, Panchaman Rai, Panchamaya Rai and Chandra Bahadur Rai. The organisation offered khadas and honorary certificates to the elderly and conveyed best wishes for their health and wellness. The elderly were also entertained by cultural programmes performed by dancing troupes from Siyok and Okaity tea gardens. The function also felicitated four dedicated members, NB Rai, Diwakar Rai, Kumar Rai and LD Rai, for their exceptional contribution to the Kirati Khambu Rai community. (EOIC)
