KNEEL ON YOUR KNEES “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6) We face challenges of life every day. The Bible affirms that man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. And who doesn’t have a fair dose of the challenges in life? Our attitude during troubles and trials shows our true spiritual state. If as a youth you are leading a sinful life, you will have heartaches and unending anxiety. You will lack the courage to pray, and even if you do, your will be regarded as abomination before the Lord. If you want your prayer answered, repent and forsake sins, and God will hear your prayer. Prayer is the key that a Christian youth can employ for all-round victory. Even as a young boy or girl you must learn to settle all your problems on your knees. Our Lord Jesus Christ was “exceeding sorrowful unto death” in the garden of Gethsemane. He knelt down, prayed and received divine strength. Whatever problem you are experiencing now, get down on your knees and settle it once and for all. God will hear your prayer. Challenge: The prayer of righteous person will attract God’s attention.
