KNEELING REVELATION 14:7: Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, - TopicsExpress

KNEELING REVELATION 14:7: Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Before we go any further, let us confirm one very important point. The word fear in the Bible means respect. It does not mean trembling). See confirmation: PHILIPPIANS 2:12: Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (respect and trembling). (We notice in verse 7 that we are asked to fear God = respect God. The fact that we are asked to respect him, somebody else must be getting his respect, and who would that be, obviously the enemy (the devil). As we study further, we will notice that to kneel when speaking to God in prayer specifically stated in the Bible at obvious times is homage to be rendered to God in public and private worship, who is the ruler of the universe). (We will notice in the following verse of scripture that John made a mistake on the Isle of Patmos. He must have thought that it was Jesus). REVELATION 22: 8,9: And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9- Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (He was not to fall down and worship the angel. In otherwords he was directed to God to whom that respect belongs). (If you were the enemy of souls, would you stop God’s people at the beginning of knowledge or after they had obtained knowledge? Obviously in the beginning, then they would never obtain knowledge). PROVERBS 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Is it any wonder that the enemy working through people is trying to stop God’s people from respecting God = fearing him). PSALM 95: 6,7: O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. 7- For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, JESUS IS OUR PERFECT EXAMPLE, AND HE NEVER MADE A MISTAKE. Let us see: LUKE 22:41: And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, HEBREWS 5:7: Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; (We notice his prayer was heard in that he had respect for God and was on his knees). PHILIPPIANS 2: 8-10: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Remembering when we pray, whatever we ask in his name, believing, we receive). ISAIAH 45: 23: I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (We notice that this is future: shall bow. It may not be happening now, we hope that God will help us to correct these things before it is too late, and people will see that obedience to God’s instructions were necessary, and still will be). HERE ARE OTHER EXAMPLES IN GOD’S WORD: ACTS 9: 40: But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. (Here Peter shows respect to God when praying, and God hears his prayer, and gives life to the little girl). ACTS 7: 59,60: And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60- And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. ACTS 20: 36: And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. ACTS 21: 5: And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed. EZRA 9: 5,6: And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the LORD my God, 6- And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. (Please notice that before he spoke to God he was on his knees). EPHESIANS 3: 9,14: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 14- For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, MATTHEW 6: 5: And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. (In otherwords they love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets. This does not seem to be the love for the truth, but unfortunately the love for the error, which is from satan). MALACHI 1:6: A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear?, saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O Priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? (Notice: God is asking the priests that despise his name, where is his respect. to someone that despises his name, the scripture that says: at the name of the Lord Jesus Christ every knee should bow, has become of none effect). ISAIAH 29: 13: Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: (The furthest we can remove our hearts, our minds from God, is close to the devil). HOSEA 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (How often have you heard quoted in the pulpit this first portion of the scripture, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: … This is what the enemy of souls often does, to confuse the people. Whereas the second portion explains why they lack knowledge, and the reason is: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,… DANIEL 3: (Please read the whole chapter) The pertinent verses for the study are: Vs 5- … ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: Vs 6- … falleth not down and worshippeth…. Vs 7- … fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Vs 10- … shall fall down and worship the golden image: Vs 15- … ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; … Vs 16- … Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. (Notice: they were not careful to answer the king in this matter, because they were standing by the truth, and they had faith in God, that he would protect them). Vs 17- If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand , O king. Vs 18- But if not, be it known unto thee, O King, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Vs 19- Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. Vs 20- And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Vs 21- Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Vs 22- Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Vs 23- And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Vs 24- Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in hast, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O King. Vs 25- He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (Because Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, were serving God and standing by the truth of God, Jesus had every right to protect them as you have just seen). Vs 26- Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. Vs 27- And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Vs 28- Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Vs 29- Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. Vs 30- Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon. (Because these three young men were prepared to stand by the truth of God indeed (in action), King Nebuchadnezzar himself was converted). PROVERBS 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. PROVERBS 2: 1-5: MY son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; (If we remember the law of our God (ten commandments), then the law is hidden (with us) in our minds. Then ye will: ). 2- So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; (Then the ear is prepared to listen and the mind is prepared unto understanding) 3- Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; (Let us ask God for these things) 4- If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; (Let us seek for these things) 5- Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. (Then we will find the knowledge) of God MATTHEW 7:8: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (There are some who would try and get us to dishonour God when speaking to him in public and private worship, by using the following scripture): 1 KINGS 8:22,23: And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: 23- And he said, LORD God of Israel, … (Here we see that Solomon definitely stood and prayed, but remembering that the mind of man is desparately wicked let us not trust our minds, let us go to the end of this lengthy prayer, and see what happens when he finishes praying). 1 KINGS 8: 54: And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. (Can we see how lovely it is to trust God for the answer, and not to trust man. What the Word of God is trying to teach us is that when we stand praying, we stand praying on our knees). (When we understand that when we stand praying, we stand on our knees praying, then the one scripture that seems hard to understand but is not, which they also use to discourage kneeling , respect for God (the beginning of knowledge). Let us see: MARK 11: 25: And when ye stand praying,…(You see, they say you can stand and pray, yes, indeed ye can, but remember what the Father has taught us, when ye stand praying on your knees). (Here we find another scripture which these scholarly theologians use to get us to dishonour God when speaking to him). 1 KINGS 8: 55: And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying, (Here Solomon definitely stood, but if you will read further, you will see he was blessing the congregation of Israel, he was not speaking to God, but to the congregation of Israel. We do not kneel when speaking to man. It would help you to read further 1 Kings 8: 55 and on). (Here follows a perfect example of how a blessing works): NUMBERS 6: 23-27: Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24- The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25- The LORD make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26- The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27- And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. (And what is his name? The LORD) (When we speak to man, we do not kneel nor do we have to close our eyes, because we are speaking to man and not God). (May the following warning rather be sooner than later, for later will be too late): ROMANS 14:11: For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
