KNIGHT NATION - BIG NEWS: When fans go to other sports complexes, you may notice things which set that school apart from other schools - items such as fancy scoreboards, etc. There have been many attempts to push this up the chain in the past to get things like this for our school. Historically, there have been several roadblocks in preventing us from achieving these items. Times have changed... As of Friday, after meeting with administration, I have been approved to start and secure major corporate sponsorship advertising. This opportunity is a major stepping stone to get the facilities, equipment and notoriety that our Athletic Department deserves!!! We are in the elementary stages of this development, but we are pushing hard to get an Advertising Committee formed. The KASBC Board is starting an Advertising Committee, co-chaired by the President and Vice-President to begin a full campaign to bring corporate dollars into our programs. The initiative will target specific projects and earmark funding for those projects over the course of several months. We have already started...!!! 100% of funding we acquire will go directly into the large budgeted items which we are obtaining dollars for. We are seeking members to help deliver the message - no marketing or advertising experience necessary. We just have to have committed individuals, past, present, or future members willing to work beyond and outside the concession stand to bring in large opportunities for our players, and make Knight Nation even better than it is now. Are you willing to help? We will be having a meeting in mid-December to discuss strategies and to get the process moving forward.
