KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Fourth Degree Ferdinand Magellan Province District V- Southern Tagalog Region Kumintang Assembly A.C.N. 2029 Situs: Nasugbu, Batangas July 13, 2014 To my dear FB Friends, Hope majority of those who will read it are not familiar with the KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Fourth Degree under Vicariate 1 of our Archdiocese of Lipa. The photos taken are actually from the Clubhouse of Knights of Columbus Nasugbu, Batangas today for our first meeting of the K of C Fourth Degree which the turn over formally of the past Faithful Navigator -PGK AUGUSTINE C. PEGENIA to the newly elected Faithful Navigator - PGK DEO LAINEZ is witnessed of all who are present & members of the Fourth Degree. Good News to attend the said important First Regular Meeting as it is announced which reminding everyone of not to be surprised of using the DIOCESE OF BALAYAN under Vicariate 1 of our ARCHDIOCESE OF LIPA is important to all my brother knights in the Fourth Degree as it is actually initiated to start to recite the Prayer dedicated to our Grandfather & Grandmother of their contributions & even their dedication to their own FAMILY even around the world by our Archdiocese of Lipa thru our Archbishop Arguelles, D.D. It is not an excused to any members of the family especially all members of the Roman Catholics or other religious organizations or Marian Devotees not to be able to have time in taking care their own parents or Grandfather or Grandmother as they are now being senior citizens especially those who are sickly or those who are now under medication. Let us not forget that Respect towards parents who are now becoming old as Grandfather & Grandmother fills the home with light & warmth. Grandchildren are the crown of the aged. With humility & meekness, with patience, (support) one another in charity. This is how filial respect promotes harmony in all of family life, it also concerns relationships between brothers & sisters. So the GOOD NEWS centered in respect of all members of the family for their parents who are now Grandfather & Grandmother of their own children & family which derives from gratitude toward those who, by the gift of life, their love & their work, have brought their children into the world and enabled them to grow in stature, wisdom & grace. Actually the Regular Meeting of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree that was held in the Parish Clubhouse of K of C, Nasugbu Batangas started at about 10:30 a.m., following strictly of what is in the AGENDA. Our Faithful Friar is none other than the Parish Priest of Nasugbu, Batangas our beloved Rev. Fr. Gamelin (Gammy) Balita who is present in that meeting just to lead in a prayer & listen to what we actually tackled or discussed in the meeting. But in all of these with the Good News & focusing in the issuance of the membership card or I.D.., either in our own councils in the Order of the KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS or in the Fourth Degree is truly important & to give a priority to have each members of that membership card or I.D., especially that we need to present it in every regular meeting of either in our own councils or in the Fourth Degree. The meeting is adjourned at exactly 12:00 nn....Congratulations to our newly elected Faithful Navigator & all elected officers of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus in Columbian Year 2014-2015. The Installation of newly elected officers of the Fourth Degree will be set as tentative date on September 14, 2014 at the Parish in Nasugbu, Batangas.
