KNUST SRC STATEMENT ON UNITY HALL FIRE OUTBREAK The KNUST SRC share in the sorrow occasioned by the fire outbreak on the 5th and 6th Floors of the Unity Hall Block B, the cause of which, is yet to be ascertained. We relieved and offer a prayer of thanks that no casualty was recorded and are pleased to note you that the SRC is working together with the University Administration to ascertain the cause and also to institute preventive measures. Students are encouraged to stay calm as preparations to receive our freshmen is still in progress. We also wish to inform you that reopening date for students has not been postponed as being circulated on social media. Date of reopening for freshmen remains 15th August and 22nd August for continuing students. Any changes will be duly communicated to students.
