KOKODA - Day 8 We woke to beautiful misty morning views and to discover it had rained overnight. I was secretly hopeful we would encounter some kind of MUD today :) We started our day once again with a...... you guessed it STEEP CLIMB! which was this time up the Maguli Range. We then zig zagged our way down to Ofi Creek for a cool off and morning tea before the big climb up the twisted tree root stairs of Ioribaiwa Ridge. We enjoyed more music and laughs with the porters along the way which made the journey easier and arrived at Ioribaiwa Village late in the afternoon where we set up camp early. We enjoyed pizza and noodles for lunch, a game of footy with the porters and the opportunity to rest and relax and escape the heat. Later we were treated to spam pasta for dinner as we watched the beautiful sunset and listened to the porters sing late into the night.
