KOMBO begs WETANGULA to stop wasting time on the Senate – he is Presidential material and should go for it like RAILA/ KALONZO Monday December 2, 2013 - As campaigns for the Bungoma Senatorial by-election intensify, former Webuye MP and Amani Coalition candidate, Musikari Kombo, has begged the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) candidate, Moses Wetangula, to leave the Senatorial seat for him and focus on the Presidency because he is a Presidential material. Speaking over the weekend, Kombo urged Wetangula to focus his energy in the preparation for the 2017 Presidential election where he has declared he would be on the ballot representing the Luhya community. Kombo urged Wetangula to emulate his co-principals in CORD; former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, and former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, who are not struggling to contest any other elective posts but waiting for the Presidency in 2017. “All Presidential aspirants are not seeking elective posts including Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. Wetangula has set his eyes on the Presidency, let him go for it and stop wasting time wanting to be a Senator”, said Kombo.
