KOMPIAM AMBUM DISTRICT LAUNCHES WEBSITE on Monday, 01 September 2014. Posted in EMTV News. With the rise of technology, the people of Kompiam Ambum in Enga Province have gone a step forward with the launch of the district’s website. The website provides information and updates on current infrastructure development in all sectors of the district, including provincial level. Present was speaker of parliament, Theo Zurenuoc, Enga Governor Peter Ipatas, Kompiam Ambum MP John Pundari, heads of departments, district public servants and people of Kompiam Ambum. Before launching the website, speaker of parliament, Theo Zurenuoc, said the website is a vital tool in showcasing the potential of Kompiam Ambum to the outside world. Speaker Zurenuoc also confirmed that Kompiam Ambum is the first district to link to the parliament website. Enga Governor Ipatas talked on promoting transparency and accountability in the province and says the website will put everything out for the people to grasp the district’s developments. He said such an initiative will change the face of Enga. The website will feature contents of the district’s 5 year plan, updates on ongoing infrastructure, latest news, events and an avenue for stakeholders to participate through sharing ideas and information.
