KP displaced community expressed its gratitude to the All Party Parliamentary Group led by Bob Blackman for bringing Early Day Motion (EDM) in the House of UK PTI/UNI/ Agencies Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Jan 23: Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of Panun Kashmir in its meeting here, today discussed various issues and prevailing political scenario. The meeting was chaired by Prof M L Raina, chairman PAC and besides PK president Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo it was addressed by Virender Raina, National spokesperson PK, Upinder Koul its general secretary, J L Koul vice president, Kamal Bhagati, organizing secretary, Vijay Qazi, Ramesh Kaul, P N Pandita, Ravinder Punjabi and Sameer Bhat. Addressing the meeting Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo expressed his satisfaction over the manner in which the Kashmiri Pandit holocaust issue was raised at various levels by KP active groups throughout the globe. In this connection it is gratifying to note that the Parliamentarians in UK tabled an important motion in the House expressing their concern about the Kashmiri Pandits, the indigenous people of Kashmir, now living in exile. It is in tune with the resolution introduced by Congressman Frank Pallone in the US House of lawmakers three years back, he added. Mr Chrungoo said KP displaced community expressed its gratitude to the All Party Parliamentary Group led by Bob Blackman for bringing Early Day Motion (EDM) in the House of UK on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the Holocaust Day of the Pandits. He said the community compliments all the KP activists in UK who were instrumental in making this to happen. He recalled that similar resolution was brought by MP Government in 2009. Virender Raina while giving a brief of his presentation made at an international conference on the fate and future of the people living in mountains, Dehradun UK also threw light on the latest political scenario of the State and situation of displaced Pandits
