KSUs kicker Jack Cantele is probably getting whacked verbally with vicious attacks by everyone about what a terrible kicker he is today. Thats so ridiculous. He missed three kicks all last year, Last night he missed three in a game. Having been in a family of a collegiate kicker, who missed a field goal occasionally, I know how hard they work to prepare. I know how much they want to make the kick, and how bad they feel when it doesnt sail through the uprights. They hurt more inside than anything you can say or do. Im sure that he and his family are devastated today. So give the guy a break. You tearing him down wont help in the next game. I hope he makes every kick for the rest of the season, but most of all, I pray that fans will identify it for what it is-- a young man trying his best, who had a bad day. Like youve never had one. Go get em, Jack. Keep your head up.
