KVNT Radio (Alaska) Interview 12/19/14, quick basic intro to the Velikovsky controversy and the Ganymede Hypothesis: Hour 1: https://youtube/watch?v=3Hy_eKCg01I Hour 2: https://youtube/watch?v=tXwHMt_kz9k The Ganymede theory involves a relatively minor problem for Christians since it involves a discussion of Cro Magnon man... but it amounts to the final coffin nail for evolution and evolutionism since it amounts to a demonstration that the living world in our solar system was originally in two parts with no way to believe that the one arose from the other via any sort of transfer. In other words, evolutionists will henceforth have to try to explain how the selfsame RNA/DNA information code and strongly related kinds of large animals arose TWICE, by sheer random chance and random processes. Troys and my book has no impact on the New Testament, which is about morality, conduct, and salvation, and not about ancient history or prehistory. The problem all of this SOLVES for Christians is much bigger than any problem it might create, i.e. what to tell Christians about the space age. You could try to tell Christians that our planet is the only inhabited planet in the universe and that everything else is just piles of rocks but NASAs own images shows little red/orange wooly-bullies on Mars and you assume that mice and rats also survived for the wooly-bullies to eat, and theres a question of why God would go to the trouble to create countless galaxies each with tens of billions of stars if all that was really interesting was our own planet, i.e. he could have stopped after our own solar system. Nonetheless as I mentioned there actually is the one movie out now which makes precisely that claim i.e. that our own planet is somehow special and presumably the only inhabited body in the universe: theprinciplemovie Im definitely not driving to Chicago to watch this one but I just as definitely will drive to any major city in Texas to watch it. I anticipate major differences between this film and my own thinking in most areas but the people behind it are very bright and I want to see the best case which can be made for some sort of a claim of Earth being special and/or pretty much it for living worlds.
