The governor’s spokesman Halilu Ibrahim Dantiye, when contacted, said it was the governor that directed that the posters be removed. “It was the governor that asked the KANUPDA officials to remove the posters because there is policy in the state that prohibit the pasting of posters on public buildings or structures because of the transformation agenda going on in the state,” he said in a phone interview.
