KWASHIORKOR. This is a disease caused by bad feeding. It usually occurs wen the child stops breastfeeding and is given mostly carbohydrates and not enough proteins. Its mostly seen in children between 6 months n 3 yrs of age though it can also appear in older children. A child with kwashiokor presents as follows: 1. Swelling of the legs. 2.hands n face become swollen. 3. Reddish hair dat pulls out easily 4. Weak n wasted musles. 5. Sometymes have skin dat peels. 6. They are uninterested of the surrounding.
