KWIKILA POLICE PLAN TO WITHDRAW SERVICES Sat, 18 Oct 2014. BY JACK LAPAUVE JNR – EM TV. #MONEY_BLO_STATE_WHERE??????????? Police personnel serving at the Kwikila Police Station outside Port Moresby are planning to walk-off their duties. In a phone interview with EMTV today, a senior serving policeman said the lack of logistical support along with complains from the villagers in recent weeks has been obvious. The policeman said numbers of crimes that police are unable to attend were on the rise. This is because police have inadequate support, as a result, they are not able to maintain law and order in the area. “We have been neglected of basic support services like transport to enable us to perform our duties as police” he said. A total of 18 policemen at the Kwikila Station will be meeting with the Central Police Commander and the NCD Commander to solve this matter. The police officer expressed that if nothing positive comes out from the meeting, all officers will do a mass withdrawal from the Kwikila Police Station. He said endless efforts have been expressed to the Central PPC and police hierarchy but nothing has been done. emtv.pg/news-app/item/kwikila-police-plan-to-withdraw-services?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
