Kaa mau te wehi.... Today I learned that another of our whanau kids who also spent part of his apprenticeship helping to clean up and build fences around the Pohutukawa on our beaches starts work next week with the Bank of New Zealand in Auckland. This is after he has spent the best part of the last 5-6 years studying and graduating from a leading New Zealand business school (University of Auckland) with both: - An Undergraduate degree (with Honours) in Finance; and - A Masters Degree majoring in Finance and Economics. Growing and mentoring our young kids to go out and grab these leading skills from the best Universities in NZ and the world is how we will ensure our kaupapa and mahi endures mai-rano... I am now trying to scope and define a role for this one of our rangatahi within our renewable energy kaupapa... But..., we need to continue growing many many more of our rangatahi to take up leadership roles with us and for us....
