Kabimba Confirms Fears Draft Constitution is ‘Dead Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has confirmed everyone’s fears that government will only release the draft constitution at their own time. Speaking during the on-going constitution making process organized by SACCORD, Kabimba said the Technical Committee did a bad job as they deviated from the Patriotic Front manifesto. He said Cabinet will not be forced to release the draft constitution. Kabimba said at whatever time the government will release the draft constitution there will be further time added for more consultation. Several key institutions among them political parties have shunned the meeting saying it was pointless. The meeting has vindicated the advocates of the constitution making process who have repeatedly said government is unwilling to release the draft constitution.
