Kai, the dog abandoned at a train station in Ayr, Scotland, wont be homeless for long. Hundreds called Scottish SPCA wanting to adopt this baby, which is awesome, but Kai only needs ONE adopter. We hope all these people who want to adopt Kai realize that there are other dogs in the shelter and they all need a home as much as Kai. We see this type of rush quite often when a dog was saved after abuse or miraculous recovery or sad abandonment: people want to adopt the now-famous dog because their stories tug at the hearts. Everyone wants to be the famous dogs hero. But most dogs do not get famous & make it to the news; in fact, most do not make it out alive once they enter the shelter system.There are so many good dogs waiting for just ONE person to see that they also deserve to be wanted. You can be a dogs hero; go save ONE. If everyone who wanted to save a famous dog would go adopt another, imagine how many dogs would be saved? And if they turned their backs on the other dogs once they found out they couldnt have Kai, what does that say about them?
