Kailyn Elizabeth DeAngelis was born January 25, 2013. At the age of three days old, doctors diagnosed Kailyn with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), resulting in immediate open-heart surgery. She has also been diagnosed with Deletion Syndrome, a disorder caused by the deletion of a small piece of chromosome 22. This will cause her many issues as she struggles with daily life. She is currently monitored by over 10 health specialists and has the support of many therapists at home. Many of Kailyn’s medical expenses are not covered by any insurance programs and she is steadily developing a mountain of insurmountable debt. The Kisses for Kailyn benefit will help to cover many of these medical expenses brought on by doctor’s appointments, surgeries, procedures, ambulances, and hospital stays that she has, and will continue to endure.
