Kaizer Chiefs will have to do without new signing Ovidy Karuru in Sunday afternoons MTN8 quarter-final against Mpumalanga Black Aces. Siya sources have revealed that the Zimbabwean international is yet to receive his work permit, and will not be available for the game. Soccer Laduma reported earlier this week that there had been a delay in issuing work permits by the South African Home Affairs, and this was affecting all PSL clubs. Almost all new foreign acquisitions are yet to be registered officially for their clubs, and Karurus case is no different. Black Aces will also be affected, with Edwin Gyimah and Collins Mbesuma unavailable. The Siya crew has learnt that many of these players are having to return to their home nations to fill in the paperwork, as they are unable to do it from South Africa. With many fans eager to see their new signings in action, it is a disappointing situation that many hope will be resolved this week, with league action set to start next weekend.
