Kalamazoo Animal Rescue wishes to express our sincerest gratitude - TopicsExpress

Kalamazoo Animal Rescue wishes to express our sincerest gratitude to a one of our terrific supporters who built three kitty houses for cats living outdoors (pictured). By doing so, she has provided several feral cats, or small groups, with life-saving shelter during the upcoming winter months. In accordance with KARs philosophy of sterilization to help reduce cat overpopulation, these cats are spayed and neutered and have someone committed to overseeing their well-being. Were still looking for people who can take cats who need outdoor homes with good shelter. For example, currently there are twelve unsocialized kittens and young cats ages 4-7 months who are living in a dangerous environment. Helping just two (or more) of these kittens will likely save their lives. In exchange for food, water and shelter, these felines will help protect the value of your property by eliminating and controlling destructive pests and rodents. All cats have been sterilized and can be trapped and relocated. Volunteers will work with you to transition the cat(s) to their new home. Read more on our Barn Homes Needed flyer. If you or someone you know can help these felines find a safe haven please contact Nancy at nmdolan@yahoo Thank you again for all of your support! You make all the difference to the lives of the cats and dogs that find shelter through our rescue and enable us to find them loving homes.
