Kaleigh update...she was really out of it again yesterday but vitals were better. Shes more awake today wuth a few smiles and giggles. Were struggling to get her electrolytes straightened out. First her sodium was too low now it above normal and shes retaining fluid. Not what we want with already gooped up lungs. Her ammonia levels are approaching a level of concern. That may mean adjusting one of her seizure meds which could bring another set of problems. GI was in today and the hope is theyll do the new feeding tube placement tomorrow in the GI lab. Shes going to need anesthesia similar to what you get with a colonoscopy. Anesthesia has the final say which means its about a 50/50 shot. Thanks for the continued support.
