Kaleighs heart rate jumped up to 120 right before her last Oxy dose. Its down to about 104 which is still really high for her. Im thinking it may also be subclinical pain. She has a really high pain tolerance so its very possible shes having pain she isnt complaining about. While I hate the thought of that Im also not willing to give her the max dose and risking her respiratory status. My other thought is her red blood count was low when she was discharged. If its still low that could cause her heart rate to increase. Im guessing its a combination of both of those issues along with still needing to be hydrated. Or it could just be some weird Kaleigh thing related to her Sinus Node Dysfunction. She resting with her Dad and puppies right now so I finished her room. Its all done except her Dads going to put a shelf all the way around the room at the height of the top of the window. Hes also going to do a chair rail, new crown and baseboard molding. Its going to be awesome!
