Dalai Lama will be visiting Vilnius on 12th and 13th of September We are happy to announce that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will be visiting Vilnius on 12th and 13th of September, 2013. We shall begin celebrating this special occasion with Days of Tibetan Culture. You shall have an opportunity to get acquainted with a unique, thousands years old culture, observe a mandala being born, admire traditional Tibetan dances and visit an exhibition of thangkas. During his visit in Lithuania, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama shall visit the Tibetan square in Užupis district, attend the ceremony of mandala destruction. He shall meet the representatives of religious communities, artists and representatives of culture and politics, as well as sponsors of the visit. And on 13th of September, 2013, at 12.30 we invite you to “Siemens” arena , where His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama shall be reading a lecture “The Path to Peace and Happiness in a Global Society”.
