Kantienboer shop local tips - hors d-oeuvres for Sunday braai (personally tested today). Ingredients: A punnet (or more) mushrooms from Zippys (R15). Braaisous from Chrisjan at GSH (the Paarman tannie kind, very cheap) A bottle or preferably more of Es La Vida Rosa from me (R29), nicely chilled. Method: Skewer the mushrooms (maybe wash them first) Paint the mushrooms with the sauce using a brush. Use fingers if you dont have a brush. Make a fire with Blackwattle - we want to eradicate those. Drink lots of Es La Vida and turn the skewers a few times until the mushrooms are golden and just right. Eat and wait for the wife to tell you what a clever boy you sometimes are :D
