Kapyale - A Goan art. When I was small sister Rita used to certain cloth items called as Kapyale from friends and relatives in Panjim and make me copy them on a 32 pages book (common those days). Then either she or mother used to stitch the same pattern using colorful triangular pieces of cloth called as Kapi. I liked it very much. I always had a question, is this Kapyale form only done in Goa or is it done everywhere in India. Can anyone please answer this for me.
