Kara - Thursday 9/18 Update The ERCP procedure was about and hour long and went really well. They were able to remove the 3 stents and replace them with one larger expanding metal one. Even though her bile labs were looking good there was quite a bit of sludge some blockage so it was a good thing thye cleaned it out and replaced the stents. They anticipate leaving it in about 4 months when they can hopefully take it out for good. Kara is back on her normal floor A4 north resting and socializing with all the staff. They are also tuning her up with some fluids to boost her electrolytes. Plan is still to head sometime tomorrow. Thanks for all your continued prayers and support.
