ABU NASR MUHAMMAD IBN MUHAMMAD FARABI Born: 872 AD, Wasij near Farab, Kazakhstan Died: 950 AD, Damascus, Syria In West, Muhammad Al-Farabi is known as Alpharabius, He is considered as great Scientist, Mathematician, Philosopher, Cosmologist, Logician and Musician of his time. He wrote more than 100 books on these topics. In Alchemy he wrote the famous book, “The Necessity of The Art of the Elixir”. In Logic he is considered Aristotle of his time; discussed in detail about ‘Future Contingents’, ‘Logic and Grammer’, ‘Interference’ etc. He has done a great job in Physics by discovering the ‘Existence of Vacuum’ and concluded that ‘Air’s Volume can expand to Fill Space’. In the field of Music he wrote the marvelous book, ‘Kitab al-Musiq’, The Theory and Cosmic Qualities of Music as Therapy’. Allah Hafiz (To be continued)
