Karachi airport attack death toll rises to 22 KARACHI: Death toll from a brazen terrorist attack on Jinnah International Airport has risen to 22 after recovery of two more bodies from Cargo Terminal. According to spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) the two men were burnt to death after a fire erupted at the terminal during the terrorist attack. He further said that five people were still missing and efforts were underway to recover them. Twenty-two people including 11 personnel of Airport Security Force (ASF) were martyred in a harrowing armed assault by terrorists clad in ASF uniforms on Karachi airport late Sunday night. Ten terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action by the security forces in the dark of the night as random echoes of gunshots and blasts filled the air from some portions of the tarmac area.
