Karen Ann here! Spent part of the day in the hospital for one of my routine procedures, and Im home and doing ok. This was the easiest tube change Ive had in all the years Ive had feeding tubes! Maizie alerted while we waited in pre-op, and Jing once again showed concern while Maizie was doing her job. Im quite certain Jing has developed a sense about my dropping sugars, either from Maizies alerting or her own gift for picking up on it. Whatever the reason, I feel very blessed to have two amazing dogs who are so talented! Thanks to my friend Courtney for coming with us and taking care of the girls. Youre a doll! Heres Maizie right after alerting, and keeping a close eye on me... and Jing trying her paws at alert-mode, too! How I love my girls!
