Karen Bethea lost three sons to gun violence. CEOs from around the world heard her story and were inspired to sponsor a mural to share that story with a wider audience. The goal was not to create a somber memorial, but to honor the youth depicted and spark conversation, particularly among young people—to help them understand that the violence they encounter is not normal, and that it has lasting impact on individuals, families and communities.
