He is the husband of Monta Rae Jeppson. He died of heart problems that he had endured off and on for 45 years. He was born on Nov 18, 1930 to Charles and Katie Borget Jeppson in American Fork. He lived in Utah County all his life and attended grade schools in Provo and Lincoln High School in Orem. He also lived in Edgemont in Provo in his growing up years. He met Monta Rae Forsyth in June of 1950 and on Dec. 8, 1950 they were married in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in Provo and Orem all their married life of 63 years. Eldon especially wanted to live to see his kids raised and hoped to be able to see his special grandkids. He accomplished this dream to see his children and grandchildren raised and was so happy to be able to see several great grandchildren born He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Eldons was a professional painter most of his working years and very particular with his work. His children and grandchildren learned many tips from him on how to paint a room. He had his own paint business for years and later was employed at BYU in the paint department. He was respected and loved by his colleges on campus and they will always remember him by the tricks and antics he played on them over the years. After he retired, BYU wanted to know if he would come back when they needed him for special repair work in painting that he had become an expert at. But his health did not permit him to do this. Eldons hobby was making small clocks, & anything out of wood he thought he could do in his workshop to be used in his home, or for his kids and grandkids which they will always cherish. Eldon held many positions in his church including some leadership positions. He was in the High Priest group leadership just before his passing. He and his wife also enjoyed serving 4 service missions for the LDS church in the Provo-Orem area after retirement. They traveled over much of the world and some of their favorites places were the countries of both of their ancestors, Denmark, Sweden, England and Scotland. They felt completely at home while visiting these respective countries.
