Karen Smith Emerson, Alyssa did an awesome presentation in the presence of 59 (LOL get the counting from my mom) with the poise, grace and knowledge of the truly amazing young women that she is. Her thesis topic was The Effects of a Lifestyle and Exercise Intervention Program on Body Composition and Body Image Perception in College Students. I was nervous for her and she made it look so easy and handled the question and answer period like a pro! High praise from the professor. She will be graduating in April with summa cum laude honors. Major in Integrative Physiology and Health Science, with another major in dance and a minor in Spanish. Hopes to be work as a Pediatric OPT. Very, very proud of her and I thank you for asking.
