Karla has made it to the six hour point to where she can now have something to help with the headache. She has had a few swallows of water and can soon turn to her side if absolutely needed. But her head must still remain lower. She has endured the past hours like the fighter she is. Its been a very quiet afternoon as we have done our best to have very little activity, very little sound but her music, and have darkened the room. In the silence of this time, one of favorite song has continued to run through my head and my heart. Those of you who know me well can already guess what that is as it is my mantra. Actually it is just God reminding me. His strength is perfect, when our strength is gone. Hell carry us when we cant carry on. Raised in His power the weak become strong. His strength is perfect. His strength is perfect. Dear Lord, we ask that you carry us through the remainder of this journey. Let us always be humble and rely upon your strength and not our own. Amen.
