Karlsruher - Wolfsburg Pick : 2 Home side, last season champions in 3rd German league, face big problems these days. They are in financial troubles, several players left the club, starting with the best striker Hakan Calhanoglu back to Hamburg, talent center back Kevin Akpoguma already sold to Hoffenheim, last season main defenders Dennis Kempe and Martin Stoll, also new sign defender Manuel Gulde are on injuries list. To things be worst, their great job sport director Oliver Kreuzer also just seized by Hamburg, the whole team operations still need time for readaption. As you can see, lots of problems for the team, Still they start new season with away win against Frankfurt 1-0 and draw at home 0-0 against St. Pauli. But all in all, they look weaker than last season. On the other hand Wolfsburg look just great in preparation period. They made some great wins, playing good, open football, like they used to play when Dzeko, Misimovic and company were in the club. Club just doing well at all fields. They dont have any financial troubles, Diego is in great form, they are very motivated to start in good fashion. Several players in nobody out. Upfront Korean Koo Ja-Cheo who is back from Augsburg and Ivica Olic make dangerous duo, also behind them offensive Perisic and Vieirinha makes their attack very powerfull and dangerous. So if you ask me, this should be easy win for the quests. Better quality, better situation in the club
