Karola, our Emergency Smile project leader, left last Friday to prepare the upcoming RED NOSES visits to Syrian refugees in Jordan! We are happy that even Julia Furdea, Miss Austria, came to the airport for a hug and saying good bye. Karola was very busy this weekend, holding extensive talks with our partner Save the Children- Jordan. Everybody there shares our belief that humour can help immensely and will bring hope to refugees who experienced suffering, atrocities and cruelty. After the meeting Save the Children- Jordan noted that “When a smile or a bit of music is shared, when colors emerge and feelings of happiness seep into the room, then you can actually feel something positive taking place”. That´s what we believe in and want to bring back to thousands of children who have lost almost everything. To Karola: we miss you here in the office, but go and bring lots of positive emotion to the people in the camps!
